Research Interests

My research interests lie in health communication, with a particular focus on how health issues are navigated within families and close relationships. Currently, I am investigating how women in patriarchal societies manage stigma and privacy related to their health. I aim to understand the complexities of communication in these contexts, especially in terms of privacy, disclosure, and the role of societal norms in shaping health-related discussions.
